Dissolving Mountains – an update on Erin

In Family on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 9:39 pm

Erin’s bloodwork came back and it’s still inconclusive.  No chicken pox antibodies showing up.  Her OB is sending her to a pathologist (Dr. Stanley) to have further tests.

And in the midst of all the questions and confusion, she has no fear.  Her faith holds strong.  She shared some thoughts with me today and I encouraged her to write them down and share with you.  Amazing….truly amazing.  It’ll blow you away.

Her faith has said to that mountain of fear, “Go throw yourself into the sea” (Mark 11:23).  And in that sea, (the Living Water) that mountain is dissolved in the depths of His Truth.  It’s gone!

What mountain do you need to dissolve in the Truth of His Word?

  1. Way to go Erin!!! Dissolve that Mountain.

Robin, you and Dirk are amazing parents. Look at how well you nurtured Erin. Look Mom, your oldest is all grown up and an amazing woman of God!

“What mountain do you need to dissolve in the Truth of His Word?”

I need to dissolve my feelings of inadequacy and take up the Cross that the Lord has given to me. 🙂

  2. Okay, I lost my first comment, ugh!

I am so glad to have found your blog and look forward to learning from you! THank you for visiting my site and allowing me to find yours. I am truly blessed to have found you.

Thank God Erin has cast her cares on the Lord. I will be praying for her and her tiny one in the womb.
